Care:  dart frogs like temps in the low to mid 70s during the day and upper 60s at night, very high humidity, and lots of cover in their tanks.  In captivity they mainly eat fruit flies but will also eat small insects like bean beetles, spring tails, and tropical white isopods.  Insects should be dusted with calcium/vitamin supplements.  Some frogs should only be kept in breeding pairs while others can be kept in groups.  A 10 gallon tank can house two frogs comfortably and a 20 gallon or larger for groups.  Once frogs are mature they will start to breed if you have a male and female pair.  A good sign frogs are old enough to start breeding is when you start to hear some calling.  Once breeding the frogs will lay their eggs on leaves, in lids under huts, or in canisters placed on the walls of the tanks depending on species.  Eggs take a few weeks to hatch, most tadpoles take 2-3 months or more to morph from a tadpole to a froglet.  Frogs will be sold when they are 2 months out of water or older.  All frogs are unsexed.
